Agreement
By using yourdata.health you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. They are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and the courts of King County, Washington are the venue for any dispute.

Everything here, including the state privacy law pages, the checklists, the comparisons and the blog, is general information for education. It is not legal advice, and reading it creates no attorney-client relationship. We are not a law firm.
It is also not medical advice. Nothing here substitutes for a clinician.
We do not certify compliance. Our assessments surface gaps for your counsel to act on. A finding is a starting point for professional judgement, never a legal conclusion.
Accuracy and currency
Privacy law changes constantly, which is the entire reason this company exists. We work to keep these pages current and we date them so you can judge for yourself. The content, design and materials on this site are owned by Your Data Health, Inc. and protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use with attribution. You may not republish them, sell them, present our analysis as your own, or use it to build a competing product.
Some methods behind our products are the subject of pending United States patent applications. Patent pending here means exactly that: applications filed, not patents granted.
What you send us
Do not send confidential information, protected health information, or anything privileged through the intake form or by unencrypted email. It is ordinary email, not a secure channel. If you need to send something sensitive, contact us first and we will arrange an appropriate method.
You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to use it to respond to you.
Links
We link to government sources, standards bodies and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Your Data Health, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability relating to the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
